I can’t remember a time feeling as mad as I did last Wednesday.
I was shaking.
After an hour of watching the coverage, I couldn’t believe my eyes.
My gut told me that there was a clear course of action:
- Deliver a litany of curse words to anyone who would listen.
- Get on social media fast – the world absolutely had to know my opinion.
- Text every person who I knew disagreed with my opinion and let them know I thought they were nuts and that their opinion was dangerous.
Luckily, I took a deep breath and remained calm (not completely true – I was tossing out “F” bombs like confetti).
We were all hoping that 2021 would be filled with lots of good news and all of our troubles would disappear.
Unfortunately, that’s not the case.
So, we’ve got 2 choices:
- Be mad all the time.
- Focus on what we can do to thrive.
I recommend the latter.
