In a world offering immediate solutions to just about any problem, it feels like “hard work” is for suckers who don’t know how to navigate Google.
At some point today, while scrolling through social, you’ll be tempted to click on an offer for quick and easy advice to solve any of life’s challenges (e.g. 8 minute abs workout).
Like you, when I run into an important issue, I do everything possible to find the life “hack” that fixes it in 5 easy steps.
And while that may address a symptom, the real issue takes time and intention to resolve (e.g. hard work).
As one of my mentors reminded me recently, “anything worth having is worth working for”.
As long as you’ve got a sustainable income, all that matters is faith, family, health and friends. Dedicating the time and intention to nurture that is hard work.
Choose to block time to focus on what – and who – matters most.
