Once I achieve this goal, I’ll feel better about myself.
Sound familiar? Yeah. I can relate.
At best, this “feeling better about myself” lasts less than 24 hours.
No matter how big the achievement, I always find myself back to obsessing over my shortcomings.
The world is packed with overachievers competing for – and winning – accomplishments.
Perhaps, instead of obsessing over our next big achievement, we should shift our focus towards the needs of others.
