There is a big difference between an interest and a commitment.
Tweeting that you’re outraged by an injustice is an example of supporting an interest.
Donating a meaningful portion of your time or income to a local non-profit addressing this cause is a commitment.
The problem with most people (me included) is that we spend countless hours worrying about a lot of different interests, but rarely do anything meaningful to make an impact.
In trying to do it all, we do nothing.
Pick one thing you care deeply about and go make a difference.
