As I advise leaders who are building their businesses, setting goals, and envisioning their futures, a pattern emerges.
No matter what goal they achieve, it never delivers what they actually crave – contentment, joy and satisfaction.
There are millions of overachievers who have achieved everything (and more) on paper, yet still feel something is missing. We think that if we cram our lives with more stuff/accolades/money that it will fill that spot.
I can tell you with absolute certainty that the constant chase for more will only wear you down.
In the end, it all comes down to how you give.
I’m not talking about donating $100 on Giving Tuesday or volunteering for a soup kitchen once a year. While those things can be a good move in the right direction, it won’t really move the needle for you or for others.
How do you give in such a way that delivers lasting results?
I created a process for my clients to walk them through that very thing called Generosity First.
Check it out and if you know anyone who would find it helpful, feel free to share it.
Have a blessed holiday season!
