Most overachievers believe that out-doing everyone else is the best path to being successful.
This belief leads to a long list of goals designed to maximize our capabilities (and eventually impress our social media followers).
We can’t imagine a weekend without a 5-page “to-do” list.
Our amazing vacations merely serve as another item to cross off our bucket list.
The problem with this approach is that it rarely leads to what we’re ultimately searching for… the feeling of peace, joy, and contentment.
It’s good to set ambitious goals. They push us outside our comfort zones and challenge us to improve.
The key is to stop obsessing over the destination and simply enjoy the ride along the way.
