Overachievers can wire themselves to say “yes” to everything with no thought to its cost. The problem is, there is a very real cost.

For many people, this seems like a bad word.
We’ve allowed our self-worth to become directly tied to pleasing other people.
This leads to constant exhaustion and half-completed commitments – both personally and professionally.
It’s time we remind ourselves that every time we say “yes,” we’re taking resources away from something else.
Not everything can be important.
