Do you remember that book you read that you were certain would change your life?
It outlined the “secret” to happiness, washboard abs, 6-figure passive income, better relationship with your kids, etc.
The only catch to all these promises is that they require you to say “no” to one thing so that you can say “yes” to something else.
Because, no matter what the latest self-help guru preaches, you can’t have it all.
Or as Patrick Lencioni points out, “If everything is important, nothing is important.”
So, before investing another dollar in the next “sure thing,” consider dusting off the last book you enjoyed and putting one of its lessons into practice.
