Sometimes the biggest obstacle to our own development… is how we talk to ourselves when no one else can hear.
<>
I would never talk to another person the way that I sometimes talk to myself.
I often take one small mistake and turn it into a massive flaw that connects multiple failures throughout my life.
Sound familiar?
We tend to be our worst critics, convinced that beating ourselves up is the best route to personal improvement.
However, as we all know deep down, it doesn’t work.
All this constant disapproval does is reinforce the belief that we’re flawed beyond repair.
You see, there’s a catch about being a human: all learning requires failure (especially at first).
It’s time we learned to cut ourselves a break and forgive our mistakes fast.
Only then can we bounce back and grow into something new.
