There have been many times in life when this has been my standard response when asked, “How’s life?”
Can you relate?
Going forward, I’d challenge us all to resist the urge to complain about how much we’ve got on our plates.
Here’s why.
The more you tell your brain that you’re swamped, the more you believe it to be true (regardless of the workload you’re facing) and the more stress you feel.
When feeling overwhelmed, take a deep breath and focus exclusively on what you can control in the next 24 hours.
You can figure out the rest tomorrow.
