At some point this week, you’ll run into a problem.
(Or, if you’re having a week like mine, it might be lots of problems.)
When the issue bubbles up, the overachiever in you screams – “Get to work! We’ve got to fix this immediately.”
Our knee jerk reaction to a problem (especially a big one) is to throw lots of effort and energy at it.
The next thing you know, emails are sent, meetings are scheduled, and projects are planned.
Sometimes this approach works and the problem is solved.
Unfortunately, all too often, this frantic activity just stirs up dust.
This week, before trying to “solve” the next issue that comes across your plate, take a deep breath, step back and seek some perspective.
