Typically, I struggle to celebrate a win if I can’t measure it in Excel.
(I recognize I’ve got issues.)
Last week, I took an unscheduled call (a friend of a friend) that didn’t generate any revenue, nor will it ever.
As a result, that person said that my words gave them “hope.”
Even though I can’t track that in Excel, it made me feel as good (if not better) as any check or recognition I’ve ever received.
Is it possible that the key to happiness is to selflessly help those in need of a little kindness?
If yes, why don’t we do it more often?
