Odds are good that will be etched on my tombstone.
I enjoy measuring everything because it clearly indicates that I’m making progress towards my goals.
But, as I mature (i.e. – get older), I’m reminded each day that the most important things in life can’t always be measured, including:
- Enjoying time with family/friends.
- Showing kindness to a stranger.
- Quietly appreciating nature.
- Embracing the message from a great sermon at church.
It might be hard to believe, but every now and then you should consider putting achievement on the back burner.
